What this service is, and what it is not
We only provide vehicle lockout assistance and car door opening. We do not cut, replace, duplicate or program car keys of any kind.
That means we do not do any of the following, for any vehicle, at any price, and never have:
- Key cutting or copying of any kind
- Replacement keys for a door or a padlock
- Car keys: supply, replacement or programming
- Transponder keys and vehicle remotes
- Ignition and ignition barrel repairs
- Motorbike and van keys
How it works
Opening a locked vehicle
The key is inside, you are outside, and the aim is to reverse that without leaving a mark on the car.

You describe the vehicle
Make, model and roughly the year, plus whether the keys are visible inside and whether the car is locked or just shut. A photograph through the window helps.

You are told whether it can be opened
Most vehicles can. Some are slow and some are not worth attempting, and you are told which before anybody sets off rather than after an hour at the roadside.

Ownership is checked
Documentation naming you, or a rental agreement. No exceptions, at any hour, for anybody.

The door is opened
Non-destructively wherever the vehicle allows it. You collect your own key from inside the car and drive away with it.

Almost always somewhere with a reason to put the keys down: the sand at La Mata or Los Locos, the Friday market at the Parque Antonio Soria, a supermarket car park in Aguas Nuevas, or the underground parking of a seafront block. In the high season, when the town goes past 350,000 people, the seafront and the centre are the slowest places to reach — so say exactly which car park or which beach access you are at.
Blue-zone streets in the centre are metered from 9:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00 on weekdays, which matters if the car has to stay where it is for a while. If you are in an underground garage, make sure someone can let the van in: the garage door is often a bigger obstacle than the car.

Questions about vehicle lockouts
Could you supply a key for the car as well?
No. This business does not cut, supply, replace or program keys for any vehicle, and does not touch transponders, remotes or ignitions. What it does is open a locked vehicle so you can reach the key that is inside it.
My key is locked inside and the engine is running.
Say so when you call, because it changes how urgent the job is rather than how it is done. Stay with the vehicle, and if there is a child or an animal inside, call the emergency services on 112 first: they can open a car faster than anyone and they will not wait.
Will the car door be marked?
The aim is to open it without a mark, and that is the usual outcome. Some vehicles, particularly newer ones with deep weather seals and sensors in the door, are slower and are assessed before anything is attempted.
Do I have to prove the car is mine?
Yes, before it is opened. The registration document, an insurance document naming you, or a rental agreement with your name on it. This is never skipped, whatever the hurry.
It is a hire car from Alicante airport.
Common here, and it is worth calling the hire company first: many will send their own assistance, and some charge you for opening the car yourself without telling them. If they decline or the wait is impossible, the door can be opened.
